The team at Simon Paul Hair look forward to welcoming you back to the salon, and we appreciate all of your support and kind words during the lockdown period.
At this point, our official date for re-opening is Saturday, July 4th 2020, however this is yet to be confirmed by government. Whilst we understand that many are eager to visit us, we ask for your continued patience whilst we work through your appointments as quickly as we possibly can.
Safety is our top priority at Simon Paul Hair, and we have developed new processes and procedures for all clients that are visiting the salon. This has also been planned to ensure that we can offer the best possible service for you, and that your visit to us is as comfortable as it can be.
Things will be different from your last visit to us, but our dedicated team are ready and waiting to make you look amazing!
Visiting the salon
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted and asked to sanitise your hands and hang up your coat. We will provide protective equipment for you, which will include a mask, gown and towel, all of which are disposable and biodegradable. We ask you to wear your mask throughout your visit.
Our team will be wearing masks and gloves, and we will also be adopting a slower pace of work than usual. All stations will be sanitised thoroughly between appointments.
Please do not handle any of the products that we use and sell. If you are taking products away with you, your stylist will have them ready for you before you leave.
No reading materials will be made available, however you are welcome to bring your own into the salon. Limited drinks will be served in biodegradable cups.
When your service is complete, a pedal bin will be at the reception, please place all of your protective equipment into this bin.
The waiting area in the salon is not currently available, and we’ve structured appointments to allow clients to be seated as soon as they arrive at the salon.
Please do not be late or too early for your appointment as you may be asked to wait outside. With distancing measures in place, space in the salon is limited so please do not bring friends or children with you.
We are not currently accepting cash in the salon, and all payments must be made by card, contactless where possible.
Bookings & Appointments
We have temporarily suspended some of our services, the reception team will advise of these when making your booking.
We will be adopting a gender neutral pricing policy with the styling team, this will not apply to barber services. When making your booking, a deposit payment will be requested.
There will be some increased costs to our colour services, as your colour will have grown out and will require more than the usual amount of colour. If you have attempted a home colour you must inform us when booking as a skin test will be required, and a longer appointment will be needed to correct this. A quotation will be given for colour correction.
A small non-profit surcharge will be added to your bill for the safety equipment that we provide during your visit.
We are operating 48 hour minimum notice period for cancellations. Failure to attend will result in a 100% charge for the appointment cost.
If you have any Covid-19 symptoms please do not make an appointment and seek medical guidance
If you have any questions regarding the above guidance, please speak to one of our team on 01564 771 110.
Our processes and procedures may change as and when new guidance is made available.
We would like to thank you once more for your amazing support and patience and look forward to seeing you in the salon very soon!
