The Hair Academy

Our academy received City & Guilds independent Centre status in 2001. We have maintained our vision throughout, training our team to be highly skilled industry trained professionals of the future, trained to NVQ Level 2 & NVQ Level 3 qualifications without the need to attend college.

Our program has enabled, to date, over 75 young stylists to enter the industry. Some have continued their careers at Simon Paul Hair, one of which is now our most highly skilled senior member of our team. Our hairdressing training academy has produced talent that has lead on to Student of the Year Award winners and some apprentices have begun their own careers as salon owners.

We are currently the only VTCT endorsed satellite centre to Solihull College.

    Salon news

     I’ve been going since Simon opened 25 years ago. The service is second to non and they always go out of their way to keep all clients happy.  

     All the staff are friendly and capable. My hair stylist Amelia is excellent and it's a treat to go there. Looking forward to my next visit!  

     I had my hair cut and blow dried by the lovely Brogan. She took time to explain what she was doing and made me feel at ease. She also gave great aftercare advice. My hair was finished with a blow dry with curls, which is still in place over 24 hours later. I have very long thick hair, so this is a miracle!!!
